What Changed
Previously, funding your USD wallet on Cyphalet required routing money through manual processes that could take hours. With today's update, we've integrated directly with additional payment rails that support real-time USD settlement — meaning your dollar deposits reflect in your Cyphalet wallet almost immediately after the transfer is initiated.

We've added support for additional USD funding channels. More ways to get money in means more flexibility for you.

Every USD deposit goes through the same fraud monitoring and encryption as all other Cyphalet transactions.

How to Deposit USD
Funding your USD wallet is now just as simple as funding your NGN wallet:
- Log in to app.cyphalet.xyz
- Go to Wallets and locate your USD Wallet
- Tap Deposit and follow the on-screen instructions
- Your balance will update within minutes of a successful transfer
What You Can Do With Your USD
Once your USD wallet is funded, you have three powerful options:
- Send internationally — transfer dollars to recipients across borders directly from your USD wallet
- Convert to NGN — switch to Naira at live rates whenever you need local currency
- Hold and save — keep dollars as a store of value, especially useful during periods of Naira volatility
What's Next
This is just the beginning for USD on Cyphalet. Over the coming months, we're working on expanding the range of supported channels further and reducing the minimum deposit threshold to make the USD wallet accessible to even more users.
We're also actively building toward our next set of supported currencies — GBP, EUR, GHS, and KES are all on the roadmap. Watch this space.
